Reducing Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) has become more important than ever as climate change becomes more prevalent. Refineries across the globe are now tasked with monitoring GHGs and more specifically methane. The Micro Motion F-series meter combined with a 5700 Transmitter provides the necessary measurement to be able to monitor and report methane emissions in a refinery. This measurement data can be used to report back to a governing agency and provide the amount of methane on a mass basis that is being emitted into the atmosphere. Micro Motion Coriolis meters have been successfully used in a variety of gas measurement applications, including monitoring methane emissions.
