The theme "Boundless Automation for Ecosystems in Action" highlights the next-generation automation architecture, which enables improved data utilization and operational performance.

This year NAMUR Annual General Meeting takes place Nov. 21-22, 2024 in Neuss, Germany. The two-day congress will host over 650 industry executives, expert users and automation suppliers who gather to learn the latest advancements in automation technology and software.

Keynote

Emerson will present the company’s Boundless Automation^SM vision for the next-generation automation architecture. By combining NAMUR standards and recommendations, together with other modern communication, computing, and software technologies such as APL, edge, containers, and cloud, applications will be able to execute in the Intelligent Field, on premise in the modern Edge environment, or in private or public clouds tied together with a unifying “data fabric” that will eliminate data silos, enabling easy deployment software and AI applications, and producing agile, high-performance operations. Unlocking the value of operational technology (OT) data will enable organizations to optimize across the sometimes apparently conflicting goals of production, cost, reliability, and sustainability.

Roel Van Doren, Group President of Global Sales at Emerson, presents the keynote address, showcasing Emerson’s portfolio transformation over the past three years and how it reinforces the company’s position as a global leader in automation. He will discuss how Emerson’s world-class software and technology address the increasingly complex and interconnected challenges faced by the industry.
