One characteristic of exemplary capital projects is effective early planning. This early pre-FEED phase explores your strategy and the who, what, why and how and when of your project. How well prepared are you for your next automation project? Who are the stakeholders and how well aligned are they regarding target business objectives for the project? Emerson has the capability to team with your personnel to develop and deliver all aspects of conceptual engineering.
Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) is a practice that defines tactics based on project strategy, including establishing standards, roles and responsibilities, and specifications to be utilized during project execution.
By the end of FEED, your team will have around one third of the detailed design completed and documented including a functional design specification, preliminary project schedule, roles and responsibilities matrix, personnel training plan and commissioning or cutover plan.
As your project Main Automation Contractor (MAC), Emerson identifies and manages the risks associated with sourcing Emerson and third-party content through design, implementation, instasllation testing, commissioning, startup and the lifecycle of your facility.
Emerson is responsible for all automation and will work with your EPC and can co-locate engineers with plant personnel, EPCs and suppliers to integrate processes, coordinate communications and establish standards, rules and conventions.
