In wet gas scrubbers, scrubbing effectiveness is maintained by keeping an excess concentration of the scrubbing chemical - either caustic or acid - depending on the waste gas. pH provides a measure of this concentration that can be used to control the addition of make-up chemicals. ORP measurement may also be used if the scrubbing involves an oxidation and reduction reaction. Dirty scrubbing water can plug a pH sensor or ORP sensor, leading to a shorter sensor life. The Rosemount™ 396P pH/ORP Sensor is ideal for wet gas scrubbers due to its large area reference junction that resists coating and plugging.
The Rosemount 1058 Dual Channel Transmitter provides confident liquid analysis measurement in a wide range of industrial, municipal and commercial applications. It is a 4-wire powered device that provides multi-parameter liquid analysis for digital and analog sensors, including inputs from pH/ORP sensors, ISE, flow, current, conductivity sensors (contacting and toroidal), turbidity sensors and amperometric sensors (dissolved oxygen, chlorine and ozone).
The 1056 dual-input transmitter offers single or dual sensor input with an unrestricted choice of dual measurements thus reducing the cost per loop and saving panel space. This multi-parameter instrument offers a wide range of measurement choices, including differential conductivity, dual oxygen and many other combinations supporting most industrial, commercial, and municipal applications. The modular design of the instrument allows signal input boards to be field replaced making configuration changes easy.
The 1057 three-input analyzer offers sensor input for pH/ORP/ISE or Contacting Conductivity/Resistivity. With an unrestricted choice of dual measurements, you can reduce the cost per loop and save panel space.
Rosemount 5081 Explosion-proof Transmitter is a single channel loop powered device that can accept input from pH/ORP sensors, conductivity (contacting and toroidal) sensors and amperometric (dissolved oxygen, chlorine, and ozone sensors).
