Emerson in Mexico Awarded Social Responsibility Title for Sixth Straight Year

Company recognized for voluntary and public commitment to social value and noteworthy environmental practices

MEXICO CITY
(March 20, 2024) – Emerson announced today that, for the sixth consecutive year, the company has been honored with the title of 2024 Socially Responsible Company in Mexico from the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE). The Social Responsibility Badge recognizes leading companies in their voluntary and public commitment to contribute social value to their operations, considering their interest groups.

This title is awarded after a systematic evaluation process that measures a company’s social responsibility through a series of indicators in environmental, social and governance areas. It characterizes social responsibility as a way of managing and conducting business in which companies make sure their operations are sustainable not only economically, but also socially and environmentally.

In addition to receiving the title, Emerson was also recognized as a company with particularly noteworthy environmental practices.

With this recognition, combined with its global corporate sustainability vision, Emerson reaffirms its commitment to interest groups and renews its purpose to drive innovation that makes the world healthier, safer, smarter and more sustainable.
