Emerson offers the following services to ensure a successful STO:
PlanningDuring the planning and preparation stage, we will support you by performing a Site Evaluation and Walkdown service of your plant that has a planned STO. We will send you a detailed report of Emerson technologies that need maintenance, calibration, upgrades, or replacements. Based on our findings, we will determine the scope of the work, level of priority, and amount of time needed, and will devise a plan with your personnel. We will look at what tasks can be done during the shutdown, turnaround, or outage and what can be done during regular plant operations.
Execution:Based on the scope, we will execute the STO under your supervision, or we will bring in our own supervisor. The work will be done as planned by Certified Service Specialists.
The following services are possible on-site:
- Maintenance & repair using genuine parts
- On-site calibration or validation (or calibration at an Emerson facility, if preferred)
- Upgrade or replacement of obsolete products
- Startup of plant operations
Startup of Plant Operations:Emerson will assist you with the startup operations of your plant after the shutdown, turnaround, or outage until you reach the optimum production capacity.
A detailed report will be submitted along with a debrief and planning of the follow-up services.
