Emerson's (formerly GeoFields) comprehensive yet intuitive Facility Explorer™ Platform enables pipeline companies to easily access, analyze and report on facility and integrity data in a timely manner, regardless of the size and complexity of the overall operations. This industry leading solution combines advanced software and systems to resolve issues related to data analysis, access and distribution by providing a secure, enterprise pipeline platform. It empowers users, based in the office or out in the field, to perform queries, view documents, run analyses, and edit the entire range of pipeline system data using one common data source. A variety of data and analysis features are hosted in a single, seamless environment, including HCA and in-line inspection surveys, alignment and integrity sheets, and standard and custom reports as well as pipeline feature editing and other helpful tools to bridge the gap between multiple enterprise systems, ensuring the most efficient approach to facility and integrity data management.

  • Pipeline feature fields can be displayed, sorted, grouped, or filtered as needed by the user to easily pinpoint information.
  • With the click of a button, users can immediately differentiate features that are on or off the pipeline and zoom to a particular feature as well as display feature attribute data in multiple views.
  • Advanced tools allow users to create markups with a variety of customizable settings for size, type, fill, and color to rapidly define notes and areas of interest.
  • Report types vary from high level to detailed information about the system, with several standard report options available; users can also create simple or complex relational and/or spatial custom reports via a wizard.
  • Web-based feature editing allows users to edit existing online or offline features, or add new ones, for a pipeline; associated documents and maintenance records can also easily be added.
  • The platform provides administrators with an easy-to-use interface for establishing user permissions for all modules, making tools, views, data and reports easily accessible to all approved users.
