From plant control systems to isolated installations, Emerson’s ASCO low power solenoid valve product line delivers high-performance solutions. Our systems operate using low to extremely low power from 1.4W to 0.55W, without affliction from the control system I/O supervisory and current leakage. Our 1.4W solenoid valves are the industry standard for hydrocarbon and oil and gas industries. Our 0.55W solenoid valves are used for critical power applications.

Some models of solenoid valves operate with as little as 0.55W, making them ideal for battery and solar powered systems in remote and outdoor environments. The stand-alone construction makes them a flexible addition to your system design. The valves are constructed with tighter tolerances, greater efficiencies and other mechanical and magnetic optimizations. The larger orifices and standard filters prevent clogging, allowing the valves to handle higher flows to maintain performance.
ASCO stand-alone low-power solenoid valves can be paired with the latest output modules from global I/O and PLC/DCS manufacturers to prevent leakage or supervisory current levels from energizing the valve.
Older I/O control systems are made to work with valves with higher power draw. With valve draws as low as 0.55W, some output modules may generate high enough current levels to affect valve operation. Our solenoid valve is designed to prevent interference and operate effectively, even at the lowest power usage.
