DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) is a process that is used in water clarification to separate suspended solids. A DAF process makes use of dissolved air in the water, which helps oils and particles rise to the water’s surface. DAF processes are widely used in wastewater treatment, chemical plants, oil refineries, and paper mills. The Rosemount 1208 Level and Flow Sensor provides accurate measurements of open basins, remaining unaffected by process or environmental conditions.
