When the sludge has passed through the dewatering process, it is sent to the drying beds. The sludge is spread on open beds of sand, where it dries through evaporation and drainage. The Rosemount 1208 Non-Contacting Level Transmitter provides continuous level measurement. It also features a PVDF plastic housing that is resistant to conditions such as temperature changes and condensation.
