As the talc moves through the crushing and milling process, there are holding tanks for smaller quantities of the talc as it is sized and sorted for the next process stages. Throughout these stages, the talc is dusty with uneven surfaces, and the tanks may fill and empty quickly. These conditions make it particularly challenging to gain accurate level measurement of bin contents. Installing reliable level switches helps control the emptying and filling cycles.
