Level Measurement of Stored Sugar Beet and Sugar Cane Waste in Sugar Manufacturing
Accurately measure levels of sugar industry waste by-products despite sticky, vaporous material conditions.
Once the sugar beet or sugar cane is shredded or sliced to get the high sugar bearing material into a solution, the waste material generated from both sugar beets and sugar cane is diverted to storage silos. This can be used in other areas such as feedstock or fertilizer. The irregularly-shaped raw materials form uneven surfaces and can become vaporous and sticky, making accurate measurement challenging.
