Highly corrosive chemicals in the polymer surge drum can quickly destroy sensors and create dangerous situations. The Rosemount™ 242 Flow Through Toroidal Conductivity Sensor with replaceable liner is an ideal solution to measure conductivity in the outlet from the polymer surge drum to identify phase transition between polymer emulsion and water. The Rosemount 400 Contacting Conductivity Sensor can be used to monitor conductivity to detect leaks in coolant coils and heat exchangers.

The Rosemount 242 Flow Through Toroidal Conductivity Sensor features a noninvasive flow through design allowing for in-line installations without any obstruction to sample flow. This conductivity sensor is ideal for measuring conductivity in highly conductive liquids up to 2 S/cm (2,000,000 μS/cm) and for use in viscous, abrasive or fibrous liquids.

The Rosemount 400 Contacting Conductivity Sensor, with integral cable, accurately measures electrolytic conductivity in a broad range of applications from high purity water to clean cooling water. The Rosemount 400 conductivity sensor is ideal for use in clean, non-corrosive liquid having less than 20,000 µS/cm.
