The ASCO Series WBLP is a line of solenoid operators with increased safety and encapsulation for potentially explosive environments, according to ATEX-Directive 2014/34/EU EC. The solenoid operator has easy electrical installation by means of a screw terminal coil. The coil winding is fitted with a thermal fuse (in AC/DC) that will trip and cause the valve to de-energise and fail-safe in the event of excessive temperature due to prolonged overvoltage or a blocked core.
