The Valve Health application provides a fleetwide dashboard that highlights valve health and maintenance priorities at-a-glance. Using color-coded repair urgency indicators and the Valve Health Index, users can quickly identify which valves require immediate attention and prioritize maintenance effects across their entire valve fleet.
Valve Health application continously analyzes valve and instrument data in real time using read-only access to connected devices. Because the application does not command valve movement or take equipment out of service, data analysis can be performed while the process remains in normal operation.
A complete list of available analytics can be found in the Valve Health application instruction manual. The application uses live device data, alerts, and operating conditions to generate actionable health insights that help users prioritize maintenance activities and improve valve reliability.
The Valve Health application supports multiple connectivity options to fit a wide range of plant architectures. Data can be collected through WirelessHART networks using Wireless Gateways and THUM adapters, through wired connections using AMS Device Manager, or through OPC UA connectivity from a DCS or other data source.
